The incident occurred around 21:30 in Gülbahar Neighborhood. According to reports, Kadir Yılmaz and dental assistant Yeşim Yılmaz, who had been experiencing severe marital discord for some time, filed for divorce. A dispute arose between the couple, who lived in the same house, for this reason. As the argument escalated, Kadir Yılmaz, who was reported to have yelled at his wife, went out onto the balcony. After a while, Yılmaz fell from the 4th floor. Citizens who heard his wife's scream after seeing Yılmaz fall alerted the health, police, and fire teams to the scene. Following a quick examination by the health teams that arrived shortly after, it was determined that Kadir Yılmaz had died. His wife, who suffered a nervous breakdown, was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
Meanwhile, police teams that started working on the incident took precautions by setting up a security cordon around the area. The Şişli Crime Scene Investigation Bureau teams and the Public Prosecutor also worked at the scene for a while. After the investigations, Kadir Yılmaz's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue by a funeral vehicle. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
