While Rıdvan Çetinkaya, his wife, and child were having a picnic in Kandahar Neighborhood, the mother and child were swept away by the water in the Bendimahi River for an undetermined reason. Çetinkaya jumped into the water to save his wife and child.

With the help of nearby citizens, the mother and child were pulled from the water and taken to the hospital by health teams.
