A piece of UAV hit the shore in Sakarya

A mysterious 1.5-meter-long wing piece, noticed by citizens on the coast of Karasu district in Sakarya and assessed to belong to an unmanned aerial vehicle, prompted the Coast Guard Command teams into action. The 3-kilogram piece, which bears no markings and has been taken for technical examination, is being investigated to determine which country and what type of aircraft it belongs to.

Upon noticing an object on the coastline of Doğu Karadeniz Street in Karasu district of Sakarya, citizens reported it, prompting the dispatch of Coast Guard Command teams to the area.

1.5 METERS LONG AND 3 KILOGRAMS IN WEIGHT

The teams arriving at the scene took a wing part, believed to belong to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), for examination. The part, taken to the Coast Guard unit for detailed technical analysis, was found to be approximately 1.5 meters long and 3 kilograms in weight.
