Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that they will not respond to Israel's decision to recognize the 1915 events as 'genocide', adding that it is in Armenia's interest not to be involved in the process of using this issue as a weapon.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, commenting on the Israeli government's decision regarding Armenian claims about the events of 1915, said, "We see no need to respond. Because we believe it is in Armenia's interests not to become involved in the process of using this issue as a weapon."
PASHINYAN: WE WILL NOT BECOME INVOLVED IN THE USE OF THIS ISSUE AS A WEAPON
According to a report by Armenia's official news agency Armenpress, Pashinyan responded to a question about the Israeli government's decision following a meeting of his Civil Contract Party.
Regarding the said decision, Pashinyan stated, "We see no need to respond. Because we believe it is in Armenia's interests not to become involved in the process of using this issue as a weapon."
ISRAEL'S SCANDALOUS 'GENOCIDE' DECISION
The Israeli government unanimously decided yesterday to recognize Armenian claims about the events of 1915 as 'genocide'.
