MEETING BETWEEN AKŞENER, YAVAŞ, AND İMAMOĞLU
According to Burhan's claim; during the period when the then leader of the İYİ Party, Meral Akşener, left the Six-Party Table, a critical meeting took place with Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
AKŞENER'S 'PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY' OFFER TO YAVAŞ
According to Burhan, Akşener, who opposed the candidacy of the then CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, suggested that Yavaş run for candidacy due to his higher potential in the polls.
Burhan conveyed the details of the meeting as follows: "On Sunday night, one day before Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's candidacy was announced, Ekrem İmamoğlu and Mansur Yavaş had a late-night meeting at the home of Ms. Meral Akşener. Ms. Meral states that Kemal Bey is lagging behind in the polls, while Mansur Yavaş and Ekrem İmamoğlu are ahead, and she calls on Mansur Bey to 'become a presidential candidate.'
"I WILL LEAVE THE İYİ PARTY TO YOU"
Burhan claimed that Yavaş exhibited a hesitant attitude in response to this offer, while Akşener suggested the leadership of the İYİ Party to Yavaş in case he loses the election. Burhan stated: "When Mansur Bey acted hesitantly, Meral Akşener said to him, 'Mansur brother, come and be the presidential candidate. If you lose the election, I will leave the İYİ Party leadership to you.' Akşener made such an offer to Yavaş."
