GOLD EXPORT OF 2.1 BILLION DOLLARS FROM TURKEY IN THE FIRST 10 MONTHS OF THIS YEAR
Ömer Çaldağ, who has been exporting gold to Dubai since 2015, provided information about Turkey's gold exports to the UAE in a statement.
Çaldağ stated, "When we look at Turkey's gold export figures, it appears that 2.1 billion dollars have been exported to the United Arab Emirates in the last 10 months. This means that Turkish products are preferred here."
Emphasizing that Dubai is the meeting point for producers and buyers, Çaldağ said, "For example, customers from Saudi Arabia come here to buy our products. Customers from Iraq prefer our products from here."
Çaldağ pointed out that Dubai is central in this regard, stating, "We identify Dubai as a single point; buyers from all over the Middle East come here to purchase Turkish products."
Çaldağ mentioned the products that are in demand from Turkey: "Turkey has the capacity to produce every kind of model in every carat. We make products in 18, 14, 21, and 22 carats. For example, Saudi Arabian customers prefer 18 carats, so we produce accordingly. Iraqi customers prefer 21 carats, so we make 21 carats."
Çaldağ explained that the Dubai Gold Souk is divided into old and new sections, with trade taking place in 800 shops, saying, "Dubai loves the largest items. From electric gold cars to the world's largest ring, you can find it here. You can also find a ten-kilogram gold dress, shoes, and bags. You can access every kind of product from here."
