Former AK Party MP Şamil Tayyar emphasized that the complete withdrawal of the credit card tax is the right decision, and he did not miss the opportunity to refer to BBP leader Mustafa Destici, who said, "A person with a limit of 100,000 lira who does not pay a 750 lira credit card fee defends Greece and Armenia."
The proposal to impose an annual tax of 750 TL on credit cards was withdrawn by the order of President Tayyip Erdoğan. Former AK Party Member of Parliament Şamil Tayyar, who welcomed this step, also referred to the General Chairman of the Great Unity Party, Mustafa Destici.
"THAT PACKAGE WAS PREPARED WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE SOCIETY"
Pointing out that the tax packages prepared by technocrats cannot calculate their effects on society, Tayyar said, "That package was prepared without considering how it would bring society together or divide it. At this point, the politician comes into play because they are the one who will be held accountable."
"SENSIBLE THINKING REQUIRED THIS"
Expressing that the reactions regarding the planned 750 TL deduction, especially if the credit card limit exceeds 100,000 TL, were addressed by the President, Tayyar stated, "This package has been withdrawn, and the 750 TL payment has been completely removed. Sensible thinking required this; it was the right step."
REFERENCE TO DESTİCİ
Referring to BBP leader Mustafa Destici, who drew attention by saying, "Those who criticize the deduction of 750 TL from credit cards with a limit of over 100,000 TL defend DEM, Greece, and Armenia," Tayyar asked, "With this decision, is our President also a traitor to the homeland, a Greek, an Armenian, or something else?"
