In the Amasra district of Bartın, a 58-year-old man who had been working as a technician assistant at the District Police Department for 16 years was found motionless in his home where he lived alone. In the incident, where his colleagues went to his home after he did not show up for his morning shift and encountered a heartbreaking scene, police officers were overwhelmed with tears over the death of their colleague with whom they worked side by side.
A person who served as a technician assistant for 16 years within the Bartın Amasra District Police Department was found dead in their home.
COLLEAGUES WENT TO HIS HOME WHEN HE DIDN'T COME TO WORK
According to information obtained, the incident came to light when Recep Kiren (58), assigned to the annex building of the Amasra District Police Department Social Facilities, did not show up for work in the morning. Suspecting something was wrong because Kiren was late and unreachable, his colleagues grew concerned and went to his residence, where he lived alone.
Arriving at Kiren's home on Kum Mahallesi Dereyanı Sokak, his colleague noticed the door was unlocked and entered. Upon checking the rooms, the colleague found the 58-year-old technician assistant motionless.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT HE HAD SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS
After the situation was reported, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were quickly dispatched to the area. In the initial examinations conducted by health teams and specialist doctors who arrived at the scene, it was determined that Recep Kiren had passed away. It was learned that Kiren, a beloved personnel member, had been experiencing serious health problems and had been receiving medical treatment accordingly.
THEY COULDN'T HOLD BACK THEIR TEARS
Upon hearing the tragic news, police personnel and Kiren's colleagues flooded to the house on Dereyanı Sokak, unable to hold back their tears. Neighbors tried to console the police teams, who were deeply grieving the loss of a colleague they had worked shoulder to shoulder with under the same roof for 16 years.
After the examination conducted at the scene by the Public Prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams, Recep Kiren's body was transported to the Amasra Municipality morgue.
