227,000 TL FINE FOR SPEED VIOLATIONS
According to reports, the driver was caught multiple times by electronic surveillance systems for speeding at various locations across Turkey. During checks at the border gate, it was revealed that the driver had accumulated a total of 227,000 TL in traffic fines.
ALLOWED TO DEPART AFTER PAYING THE FINE
The citizen, whose exit procedures were halted due to the debt, was able to leave the country after paying the fine. Describing the incident with their mobile phone camera, the driver admitted to speeding many times during their stay in Turkey and urged other drivers to be cautious.
The citizen said, "I paid a 227,000 TL fine. There are radars everywhere, drive slowly. If I didn't have the money, I would have been stuck here." Authorities stated that speed violations on highways and intercity roads are instantly detected by electronic systems and warned drivers to obey traffic rules.
