A storm hit two of our provinces! Roofs flew off, trees were knocked down.

The severe storm affecting Elazig and Bingol negatively impacted daily life. In Elazig, building roofs were blown off, while in Bingol, trees were uprooted. Some trees were seen toppling onto vehicles. While buildings and vehicles sustained damage, it was reported that there were no fatalities or injuries.

TREES FELL ON VEHICLES

In Elazig, the storm toppled a willow tree in the garden of a business near the Firat Bridge onto two parked vehicles. The vehicles sustained damage, but fortunately no one was injured. Upon notification, firefighting teams affiliated with the Bingol Municipality were dispatched to the area, and teams began work.

ROOFS WERE BLOWN OFF

In Bingol, winds that occasionally intensified blew off the roofs of some buildings and toppled trees. Roof pieces scattered around and fallen trees were removed by municipal teams.

ROOFS OF 12 BUILDINGS WERE BLOWN OFF, 3 TREES FELL

It was learned that reports were made to the Bingol Municipality 153 Solution Center and firefighting teams that the roofs of 12 buildings had been blown off and 3 trees had fallen.
