Taşçı, a guest on Hülya Avşar's YouTube program, said he has been following a vegan diet for a long time.
The singer, stating that he has adopted a vegan lifestyle for about five years, explained how this change positively affected his life. "My life became much lighter after becoming vegan," said Taşçı, also sharing his views on animal products.
During the program, Taşçı made striking remarks about fish consumption, saying, "A person who eats fish gets poisoned. You eat halva at the fishmonger to get rid of the poisoning. Eating fish makes us fish-like. Our mind and memory diminish a bit." Then, regarding eggs, he said, "Technically, an egg is a chicken's period. Scientifically, this is very dangerous."
