The Deputy Group Chair of the AK Party, Özlem Zengin, criticized the broadcasting of films and documentaries about the Holocaust on television and digital platforms while the massacres in Gaza continue, during her speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Zengin stated, "I believe that these films should not be shown in Turkey until the genocide in Palestine is over," calling for a temporary ban on Holocaust films.

AK Party Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin criticized the broadcasting of films about the Jewish genocide (Holocaust) on television and digital platforms while the massacres in Gaza continue, in her speech at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Zengin suggested that these films should be banned in Turkey until the genocide in Gaza comes to an end.

"I WILL PRESENT AN INTERESTING PROPOSAL"

In her speech at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, AK Party Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin made a striking call. Before starting her speech, Zengin said, "I will present an interesting proposal," and continued, "So far, 182 films and 116 documentaries have been made about the Holocaust. I believe you have encountered this while sitting at home. While massacres related to Palestine are happening, you turn on your television; in the morning, noon, and evening, you see a film about the Holocaust. This is present on all channels. I won't name them, but many platforms continue to show these films."

"I THINK IT SHOULD BE BANNED IN TURKEY"

Continuing her remarks, Zengin stated that these broadcasts should be stopped until the genocide in Gaza is over, saying, "I think it is necessary to ban the showing of these films in Turkey until the genocide that Israel is committing in Palestine, in Gaza, comes to an end. These films should not be shown. It is not right to commit genocide on one hand and insist on broadcasting these films about the Holocaust on the other."
