In a tragic incident that occurred yesterday morning at Liparis 5 Holiday Complex in Çeşmeli Neighborhood of Erdemli district in Mersin, singer Atilla Taş's daughter Sezen Taş fell from the 14th floor. During the check carried out by medical teams dispatched to the address upon report, it was determined that the young woman, a mother of two children, had lost her life.

The body of Sezen Taş, who was alleged to have experienced psychological problems after the separation process with her spouse and for whom the possibility of suicide was being considered, was received by her family after the completion of autopsy procedures. Atilla Taş, his mother İlkay Sarıköse, relatives, musicians, and many citizens attended the funeral brought to Mezitli Cemetery for the ceremony. During the funeral prayer, father Atilla Taş, who burst into tears, was barely consoled by his relatives and friends. Sezen Taş's body was buried after the prayer was performed.
