After Hurricane Helene in Florida, a security camera footage shared by officials was released to warn electric vehicle owners. The footage shows a Tesla parked in a garage filled with saltwater catching fire.

The video shared by Pinellas County officials on Saturday shows that the fire started underneath the vehicle and engulfed the entire car in less than a minute. During the incident, the garage quickly filled with smoke.

Hurricane Helene affected not only Florida but also North Carolina and other Southeastern states. It is reported that at least 91 people lost their lives due to the storm, and this number may rise. Strong winds and heavy rainfall caused significant damage in the area.

Officials are struggling to deliver aid to disaster areas due to the flooding making access difficult. President Biden described the storm's strength as "astonishing" and promised full support to the affected states.

Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 storm with winds reaching 225 km/h on Thursday night. It later affected Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee, leading to hundreds of water rescue operations.
