The accident occurred during the night hours at the Morhamam Neighborhood location in the Arguvan district of Malatya. According to obtained information, a truck and a car traveling in the area collided violently for an unknown reason. The car sustained heavy damage from the impact, and the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
THE ACCIDENT'S TOLL WAS HEAVY: 3 DEAD
Upon the notification, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. During initial checks by medical personnel inside the wrecked vehicle, it was determined that Duygu Ecrin Koşkan (16), Ayşe Koşkan (54), and Mustafa Koşkan (55) in the car had died at the scene.
THE BODIES WERE TAKEN TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE MORGUE
One person, who survived the accident with injuries, was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment after initial medical intervention at the scene. The lifeless bodies of the three deceased individuals were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy after the duty prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams completed their work.
Gendarmerie teams launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
