A truck that started drifting down the street while parked in Bağcılar hit 8 vehicles. The moment of the accident was recorded by the security camera of a nearby business. Witnessing the incident, Yasin Işık said, 'The truck started sliding downhill, mowing down many vehicles in front of it. Thank God no one was hurt, there are no injuries; if it had happened during school hours, it could have been a major disaster.'
A truck with brake failure, parked in Istanbul's Bağcılar district, crashed into 6 parked cars and 2 minivans. The moment citizens panicked and fled during the accident was captured on security camera.
CRASHED INTO PARKED VEHICLES
The accident occurred around 17:00 on Şehit Yılmaz Kaan Street, Yıldıztepe Neighborhood. According to claims, the driver of truck with license plate 34 PFC 861, Ercan Arslan, left his vehicle parked, after which the truck began to slide down the street. The sliding truck damaged 6 parked cars and 2 minivans.
Following this, nearby individuals pulled the handbrake of the sliding minivan and stopped the vehicle. Upon notification from bystanders, police and municipal teams arrived at the scene. It was learned that no one died or was injured in the accident.
ACCIDENT ON CAMERA
The footage recorded by a security camera of a nearby workplace showed the moments when the sliding truck crashed into 8 vehicles. After the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the street, traffic flow returned to normal.

Yasin Işık, who witnessed the accident, said, "It happened around 17:00. We heard the sound and went outside; the minivan started sliding down from above, mowing down many vehicles in front of it. A fellow tradesman here intervened. He opened the door, and his friend had to jump into the car and pull the handbrake, thus the vehicle stopped. Thankfully, no one was harmed; there are no injuries. It could have been a major disaster if it happened during school hours. 7 vehicles were damaged as you see. 4-5 vehicles were parked, and it dragged them along, lifting one of them into the air."
