The forces of the Syrian National Army (SNA) are continuing their search and rescue operations in Manbij, which they liberated from the terrorist organization PKK/YPG. USED FOR TREATMENT OF ORGANIZATION ELEMENTSIn the investigation conducted at the hospital, which was used as a military headquarters by terrorists, it was observed that the operating rooms had recently been used for the treatment of organization elements. In the hospital and tunnels, items, posters, and remnants of rags left by organization elements were found. TUNNEL NETWORK REVEALEDDuring the search and rescue operations, it was revealed that there is a tunnel network extending from under the hospital to the city of Manbij and its surroundings. It was observed that the tunnels were equipped with meeting and operation rooms, a communication network, and infrastructure such as electricity and water. WHAT HAPPENED?The SNA had liberated the center of the Tel Rifaat district from the terrorist organization PKK/YPG on the first day of the Operation Dawn of Freedom, which started on December 1. With the liberation of the Manbij district during the operation, the region, which had turned into the largest terrorist nest west of the Euphrates River, was cleared of PKK/YPG. Yesterday, a tunnel network wide enough to accommodate trucks belonging to the organization was photographed in the Manbij district, with some points reaching a height of 7 meters. It was reported that some branches of the tunnels are approximately 5 kilometers long and that there are paths in the massive tunnels where vehicles can move comfortably.
