In a statement regarding the incident, it was noted that the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, to which the aircraft is assigned, and the air wing stationed on the ship maintain full operational capability.
A report has stated that an FA-18E fighter jet belonging to the United States fell into the sea after losing control while being pulled into the hangar section of an aircraft carrier.
FELL INTO THE SEA
In a statement from the U.S. Navy, it was expressed that the FA-18E fighter jet lost control while being pulled into the hangar of the aircraft carrier and fell into the sea. The statement noted that the tow truck, which was trying to bring the aircraft into the hangar, also fell into the sea along with the plane, and that the personnel conducting the towing operation had fortunately moved away from the accident site safely before the aircraft fell into the sea.

WAS UNDERWAY IN THE RED SEA
According to the Navy's statement, the Harry S. Truman Aircraft Carrier was underway in the Red Sea at the time of the accident.
The Harry S. Truman Strike Group consists of the flagship USS Harry S. Truman, nine squadrons belonging to the 1st Air Wing, three guided missile destroyers from the 28th Destroyer Squadron, and the Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64).
