WHO IS BURCU KÖKSAL?
Burcu Köksal was born in 1980 in Afyonkarahisar. After completing her legal education, she worked as a private attorney. Starting her political career with the Republican People's Party, Köksal served in CHP organizations for many years.
Köksal entered the Turkish Grand National Assembly as a CHP Afyonkarahisar deputy in the 2018 and 2023 general elections and drew attention with her harsh statements in the opposition. In the 2024 local elections, she was elected as the Mayor of Afyonkarahisar as the CHP candidate.
