FELL AS METRO ENTERED THE PLATFORM
The incident occurred at around 10:30 on Sunday, July 26, at the M2 Gayrettepe Metro Station in Gayrettepe District. According to the information obtained, Enes G., who was born blind, came to the metro station from Istanbul Airport to meet his girlfriend. As the metro approached the platform, Enes G. lost his balance and fell onto the tracks.
FIRE DEPARTMENT TEAMS RESCUED HIM
Upon the notification, fire department, emergency medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Enes G., who was in the gap between the metro and the tracks, was removed from where he was by fire department teams. Determined to be conscious, Enes G. was taken to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital by ambulance due to pain in his foot.
