A 44-year-old man who came to Antalya from Van to visit his brother lost his life as a result of an armed attack on his car, and the suspects captured in connection with the incident were referred to the courthouse after a health check. It was learned that the murder suspect, alleged to have carried out the attack, threw the pistol into the sea after the incident and tried to escape by changing his clothes.
ARMED ATTACK WHILE MOVING WITH HIS CAR
The incident occurred on 272nd Street, Hurma Neighborhood, Konyaaltı district. İlhan Kaval (44), who worked at Van Metropolitan Municipality, was subjected to an armed attack while moving with his car with license plate 34 CHE 001 in Antalya, where he had come to visit his brother. Kaval, who was hit by bullets in various parts of his body, died in the hospital despite all interventions by the doctors.
CAPTURED AT A HOTEL
Following the incident, teams from the Antalya Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau Office launched a comprehensive operation to capture the suspects linked to the attack. As a result of the teams' efforts, Ü.K., alleged to have carried out the attack, and M.Y. and M.A., stated to have driven the getaway vehicle, were captured at a hotel in Tahılpazarı Neighborhood.
WORE A WIG TO AVOID RECOGNITION
It was learned that after the attack, Ü.K. threw the pistol he used into the sea, then changed his clothes and tried to cover his tracks. On the other hand, it was also learned that Ü.K. wore a wig on the day of the incident to avoid being recognized.
After their procedures at the police station were completed, the suspects were referred to the courthouse following a health check.
