A woman begging in front of a mosque in Bolu was caught red-handed by the civil police teams. It was determined that she had been begging for two hours, and a total of 1,554 lira was found on her.

While begging in front of a mosque in Bolu, a woman was caught by civil enforcement teams, and 1,554 lira was found on her.

According to the information obtained, E.D., who had been begging in front of the Kadı Mosque located on İzzet Baysal Street for a while, came under the radar of the civil enforcement teams. The woman, who was caught red-handed by the teams, was taken to the Bolu Municipality Zoning Directorate.

MONEY SEIZED

As a result of the searches, a total of 1,554 lira was found on the woman. The enforcement teams imposed an administrative fine of 1,406 lira on the begging woman in accordance with Article 33 of the Law on Misdemeanors No. 5326. The teams, which also seized the money, stated that operations against beggars would continue.

Additionally, it was learned that the begging woman collected the 1,554 lira in just 2 hours.
