Istanbul Police Narcotics and Intelligence Branch Directorates initiated work after receiving information. Within the scope of research and tracking activities for the capture of internationally wanted persons, Z.E. (36), sought with a red notice by Moroccan authorities for the crime of 'Drug Trafficking' to ensure her extradition, was caught as a result of an operation at a house in Avcılar.

Investigations revealed that the suspect attempted to smuggle drugs abroad by using her sister and close friends, who were caught in operations in different countries, to swallow the substances in capsule form. After the necessary legal procedures, the captured suspect was handed over to the Repatriation Center.
