Yasemin Yürük, who was a guest on a YouTube program, made striking statements years later about the disbandment process of the group Hepsi. Yürük told how she learned about her departure from the group.
The group Hepsi, which left its mark on the 2000s, continues to come to the agenda with its breakup process despite the years passing. The group, consisting of Cemre Kemer, Eren Bakıcı, Yasemin Yürük and Gülçin Ergül, had reached a wide fan base not only with their songs but also with the TV series Hepsi 1.
Yasemin Yürük, who was a guest on a YouTube program, talked about the group's breakup process and what happened during that period. Yürük stated that she learned about her departure from the group via a legal notice and recounted that day with these words:
“One morning I woke up, the postman had delivered a notice to the house. I said, 'It's over.' An immediate situation meeting was held. Then we decided to continue as three people. But our characters had now fully taken shape. Our desires, our expectations from life, what we wanted to do were completely different. It was no longer working, we couldn't make certain things work, and it ended.”
Yürük also shared two moments when she felt the group could no longer continue as before. The actress said one of these happened before the stage performance at the Bostancı Show Center, and in the other, she realized it backstage at a program.
Yürük said, “There are two moments. The first one; we were going to perform at the Bostancı Show Center. We always had breakfast before the show. I realized it there. The next time, we had attended a program, and while backstage I said, 'We can't come back from this.'”
“WE COULD HAVE REACHED COMPLETELY DIFFERENT POINTS”
Yasemin Yürük said that today, while watching the new generation girl groups, she also remembers her own era. Stating that she recently attended a concert by Manifest, Yürük said the atmosphere on stage moved her emotionally.
Yürük said, “I recently went to one of their concerts. I got emotional watching it. Because the banners are the same, that enthusiasm is the same. Honestly, I felt a bit heartbroken. I wish we could have continued more properly. I see the girls are doing great right now. They are being managed well. I thought if we had progressed that way, we could have reached completely different points.”
