SERVICE MINIBUS AND TRUCK COLLIDE
The accident occurred around 20:30 in the Burnaz neighborhood of Erzin district. According to the information obtained, the service minibus with license plate 31 PBC 29, driven by Mehmet Soylu, who had set out to take factory workers whose shift had ended to their homes, collided head-on with a truck with license plate 01 ANK 45, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined.
TWO PEOPLE TRAPPED IN MINIBUS RESCUED
Due to the impact of the collision, some workers in the service minibus were injured, and 2 people were trapped inside the vehicle. Upon the notification, gendarmerie, health, and firefighting teams were dispatched to the region.
The firefighting teams arriving at the scene removed the 2 people trapped in the minibus from where they were after intense effort.
DRIVER LOSES HIS LIFE
In the examination conducted by health teams, it was determined that the driver of the service minibus, Mehmet Soylu, had lost his life.
The 14 workers injured in the accident were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances after the first intervention by health teams at the scene. It was learned that the treatment of the injured continues.
Gendarmerie teams took security measures in the area where the accident occurred and launched an investigation. Efforts continue to determine the exact cause of the accident.
