Güzeldülger, who made statements regarding the investigations against Ekrem İmamoğlu, the appointment of trustees, and operations against the opposition, expressed that Turkey needs a new beginning.

Güzeldülger stated that the institutions in Turkey have deteriorated over the years and that a serious restructuring is now needed. Stating that "Turkey needs to turn a new page, the institutions have deteriorated significantly," Güzeldülger argued that the rent system has become widespread across the country and that the political will to combat this is not found in the AK Party.

Touching on the investigations conducted against Ekrem İmamoğlu, Güzeldülger reminded that such investigations have existed since his term as the Mayor of Beylikdüzü. Stating that the investigation of İmamoğlu's activities by the prosecutor's office is a legal process, Güzeldülger expressed that such steps are perceived as an operation aimed at disciplining the opposition.

Evaluating the process regarding the appointments of trustees, Güzeldülger stated that it is highly likely that trustees will be appointed through urban consensus. Stating that the CHP's emotional approach to this issue will not produce a political solution, Güzeldülger expressed that the opposition needs to take more strategic steps in this regard.
