Following the detention of Alparslan Kuytul, who was targeted in an operation for qualified fraud, money laundering, and forgery of official documents, access blocks were imposed on 14 YouTube, 15 Facebook, 143 X, 91 Instagram, and 79 TikTok accounts, as well as 7 websites.
In the operation organized around the Furkan Foundation, legal proceedings were initiated against 32 people, and trustees were appointed to five companies. The foundation's founder, Kuytul, and his wife were detained.
Following the operation, access restrictions were imposed on 14 YouTube, 15 Facebook, 143 X, 91 Instagram, and 79 TikTok accounts, including Kuytul's personal accounts, and 7 websites. The access restriction was imposed by the decision of the Adana 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated August 19, 2026, on the grounds of 'protection of national security and public order.'
ACCESS RESTRICTION ALSO IMPOSED ON 349 SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
Additionally, in the open-source investigations conducted within the scope of the investigation; it was also decided to block access to 349 different social media accounts that were found to have made posts praising and supporting the organizational activities of the structure in line with the directives of the organization's leader, conducting propaganda to strengthen organizational loyalty, targeting public officials and certain segments of society, and also creating pressure on individuals who left the structure, criticized it, or made statements to judicial authorities.
