Approximately 7 months after the incident, upon a complaint filed, police forces and judicial authorities took action. The suspect Ü.C.Ö., who was taken into custody within the scope of the investigation launched, was referred to the courthouse after the procedures at the police station were completed.
DEFENSE OF "SHE HID HER AGE FROM ME"
It was learned that the detained suspect defended himself in his statement. It was claimed that in his statement, Ü.C.Ö. alleged that he did not know the girl's real age was 14, saying; "I knew the girl was 16; she hid her real age from me." After the prosecutor's questioning, Ü.C.Ö. was referred to the duty court and was arrested and sent to prison.
