Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı criticized former Galatasaray administrator Erden Timur and Uruguayan footballer Lucas Torreira at a press conference. Ilıcalı targeted Torreira for raising his fist to the stands after receiving a red card in last season's derby, stating, "Those fists were raised against Turkish football and fair play."

Fenerbahçe Vice President Acun Ilıcalı targeted former Galatasaray executive Erden Timur and Uruguayan footballer Lucas Torreira at a press conference.

Addressing Erden Timur, Ilıcalı said, "Two years ago, after the Fenerbahçe match, a Galatasaray executive said, 'We won't let the league finish.' Is it concrete? Concrete! Then he apologized. Developments occurred following this threat, and Fenerbahçe's rights were violated. In one match, 3 penalties were not awarded! Jorge Jesus lost his mind and received a red card. Then Galatasaray said, 'Why are you ruining football, we are brothers,' and the season ended," he stated.

"THOSE FISTS RAISED AGAINST TURKISH FOOTBALL"

Continuing his speech, Ilıcalı said, "Last year, after the Trabzonspor match, Dursun Özbek made a statement. They said he was the worst referee, while all commentators spoke the opposite. Regarding our match, it is said, 'Your dirty hands are involved.' The harshest statements were made to the TFF. Last year, there was a yellow card operation. An imbalance of 3 yellow cards to 15 yellow cards.. Then they say, 'We want local referees, we are all brothers, let's not strain football.' Last year, after the last derby, a player who deceived received a red card and raised his fist to the stands! The joyful fists of Lucas Torreira after the red card in last year's derby are fists raised against Turkish football and fair play," he expressed.
