Acun Ilıcalı, the owner of Hull City, evaluated the championship race ahead of the new season in the Super League. Stating that Fenerbahçe has moved ahead of its rivals with the transfers it has made, Ilıcalı said, 'With the current squad, Fenerbahçe is a step ahead.'
Acun Ilıcalı, who was a guest on the Tandem Sports YouTube channel, spoke about the championship race in the Süper Lig. Stating that he really likes Fenerbahçe's current squad, Ilıcalı said that the yellow-navy team has reached an important point, especially in terms of squad depth.

Ilıcalı, who said that Galatasaray's moves during the transfer window could change the balance in the championship race, stated, "Galatasaray's transfers will determine the league. Also touching on Hull City's transfer efforts, Ilıcalı said they broke the club record with the transfer fee paid for Tzolakis. Ilıcalı also stated that they will add a player to their squad with a higher transfer fee in the coming days.
