The General Directorate of Security announced that 10 people who made provocative and disinformation content on social media accounts have been detained.
The General Directorate of Security stated that as a result of its investigations, individuals who made provocative and disinformation content on social media accounts were identified, and proceedings were initiated against 39 individuals.
SECURITY HAS TAKEN ACTION, 10 PEOPLE DETAINED
The General Directorate of Security also announced that 10 individuals against whom proceedings were initiated have been detained. In a statement from the EGM, it was said: "As a result of the work carried out by our General Directorate of Security; a total of 103 accounts have been identified, of which 16 are foreign-based, that are assessed to have made provocative and disinformation content through certain social media accounts.
In this context, proceedings have been initiated against 39 individuals, and 10 individuals have been detained. The proceedings for the other suspects are ongoing. Our General Directorate of Security's detection and action efforts against accounts that share provocative and disinformation content continue resolutely."
