A.K. (17), who received a negative response from the restaurant in Adana where he applied for a job, became angry and shot the waiter Nizamettin Yapa (44) in the legs with a gun. A.K. was caught by the motorized police teams and arrested.
The incident occurred yesterday around 5:00 PM at a restaurant on Süleyman Demirel Boulevard in the Çukurova district. A.K., who had applied for a waiter position at the restaurant some time ago, allegedly harbored a grudge against the employees after receiving a negative response.
SHOT AT THE WAITER
A.K., who went to the restaurant with an unlicensed gun, opened fire on the waiter Nizamettin Yapa, with whom he had a dispute. Yapa, who was shot in the legs, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, while the suspect fled the scene.
ARRESTED BY THE COURT HE WAS BROUGHT TO
Upon receiving a tip-off, health teams arrived at the scene and, after the first intervention, took Yapa to Adana City Training and Research Hospital. Motorized police teams conducting investigations in the area caught the suspect on the street with the gun he used in the incident. After his procedures at the police station, A.K. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court he was brought to. Yapa, whose treatment was completed, was discharged.
