Expressing his mother's illness, Çakar said, "Last night my mother was hospitalized. She is 90 years old... We spent the night together. Her condition is not good; there is a severe infection, but the problem is this. Neither from Beyaz TV nor from Beyaz Futbol and Derin Futbol, which are broadcast on Beyaz TV, did anyone call me to say get well soon. For me, Beyaz TV is now just ordinary. Nothing will ever be the same again."
