AIR STRIKE FROM ISRAEL TO DAMASCUS
Israeli warplanes conducted numerous airstrikes on Mount Mani in the Küsve region, south of Damascus.
No official statement has yet been made by Syrian authorities regarding the attacks.
6 SYRIAN SOLDIERS HAVE DIED
Meanwhile, during airstrikes carried out by Israel in the Küsve region yesterday afternoon, 6 Syrian soldiers lost their lives.
CLASHES IN SWEIDA
Armed clashes began on July 13 in Sweida between Bedouin Arabs and some Druze groups. Syrian security forces that intervened were ambushed. The escalating clashes were halted by a ceasefire, but Druze forces affiliated with Hikmet al-Hijri broke the ceasefire.
On July 16, the Israeli army struck the Syrian Presidential Palace, the General Staff, and the Ministry of Defense. As the Syrian army withdrew from Sweida, the Hijri group began to displace Bedouin families and carry out executions. Thousands of tribal fighters from outside came to support the Bedouin Arabs.
On July 19, the Syrian administration began to redeploy security forces in Sweida and ensured the exit of Bedouin and tribal fighters from the city.
