In the statement made, it was reported that the north winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 70 kilometers per hour, which are sometimes felt as a storm, are expected to lose their strength starting from the afternoon hours.

In the statement, it was noted that the precipitation would continue intermittently throughout the day, and after 15:00, mixed rain and brief snowfall could be seen in the higher elevations of Istanbul. According to AKOM's data, today (December 27), mixed rain and brief snowfall may occur in the higher elevations of the Silivri, Çatalca, and Arnavutköy districts between 15:00 and 23:00. In the Büyükçekmece and areas to the west, strong downpours are expected. It is predicted that temperatures will remain below 10 degrees, and the cold weather will be effective until Monday.
