47-year-old Alex De Souza aims to fill the gap in Coritiba's leadership and football knowledge and to create a closer mentor figure for the players.
Accepting this new role, Alex transitioned to an active position in club management, renouncing his coaching career. Meanwhile, André Mazzuco, who was working at Internacional, took over the CEO position of Coritiba, which was vacated by Gabriel Lima's departure.
