The President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, shared an experience he had with the popular technology of recent times, artificial intelligence. Erbaş stated, "A few days ago, I input a verse into the artificial intelligence. The AI responded with astonishing answers. Artificial intelligence has surpassed some intellects."
The İrşad Hacı Nuri Çomu Quran Education Center and the Hacı Şenel Özçete Mosque have opened in the Seyhan district. In his speech at the opening, the President of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbaş, made striking statements regarding artificial intelligence.
"WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL, I DID NOT UNDERSTAND A VERSE OF THE YASIN SURA"
Erbaş stated that he did not understand a verse of the Yasin sura when he was in high school, saying, "The sun moves towards a specific orbit determined for itself. But when I was in high school, they said, 'The sun is stationary.' This was the result of scientific studies. 'The sun is stationary, the other 9 planets revolve around it.' They were saying that 'the Quran does not conform to science.' However, science did not conform to the Quran. What happened in 1982? Astronomers discovered that the sun is moving. In fact, it is moving towards a specific orbit," he expressed.
"ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE HAS LEFT SOME INTELLIGENCES BEHIND"
Erbaş, who pointed out that he wrote the verse to artificial intelligence a few days ago, said, "I asked, what is the wisdom of this? How do you explain it? Artificial intelligence gave me answers in amazement. It says, 'It is impossible for this to have been known 1,400 years ago.' Artificial intelligence has left some intelligences behind. It says, 'It is not possible to know this; science could only know this in the 1980s.' There are many verses like this," he evaluated.
