The six-month raise rate for civil servants, contracted personnel, and retirees will be finalized with the June inflation figures to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) tomorrow at 10:00 AM. According to economists' expectation of 1.04%, the lowest civil servant salary is projected to rise to 70,293 TL and the lowest retiree pension to 23,564 TL. Together with SSI and Bağ-Kur members, civil servants, contracted personnel, and retired civil servants are holding their breath. According to TÜİK data, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.71 percent in May compared to the previous month, while the five-month inflation rate covering the January-May period was recorded as 16.61 percent.

INFLATION DIFFERENCE CONFIRMED

With this picture emerging over the five-month period, the 11 percent collective bargaining raise applied to civil servant salaries has been exceeded, and the payment of an inflation difference has been confirmed. In accordance with the decision of the Public Officials Arbitration Board, an inflation difference will be added in addition to the 7 percent collective bargaining raise determined for the second six months of 2026. SSI and Bağ-Kur retirees will directly receive their salaries with an increase proportional to the inflation rate of the first six months of this year.

Economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey estimate that CPI will increase by 1.04 percent monthly in June. In addition to this expectation, the possible raise rates and base salary table in case inflation comes between 1 percent and 1.71 percent are as follows:
