The child's classmate said, 'My friend was walking around with a gun in his waist. When I saw it, I got very scared and immediately ran away from there. The incident occurred yesterday at a middle school on Haki Street in Andiçen Neighborhood, Sincan district. According to claims, the 5th-grade male student came to school with a pistol, which he said belonged to his grandfather, for three days. Upon notification by parents who became aware of the situation, police dispatched to the school seized the weapon.

Within the scope of the launched investigation, it was learned that some individuals from the child's family were taken into custody. After the incident, it was stated that the school administration requested, for security reasons, that children come to school with transparent bags instead of backpacks. Due to the situation, it was reported that the number of police around the school was increased, and several administrators were called to the police station to give statements.

A parent speaking about the incident said, "Some incidents happened yesterday. They said a child came to school with a cutting tool or something similar. They indicated that several people were taken into custody. Police came to the school. Some teachers will also give statements. I was scared when I heard. Normally, I wouldn't come at dismissal time, but from now on, I will never leave my son. I'm also going to pick up my daughter from here. In the morning, they checked the students' bags. They said students should come with transparent bags for this week. They will also conduct searches every day."
