Alparslan Kuytul, his wife Semra Kuytul, and 54 other suspects, detained in the 'Alparslan Kuytul Criminal Organization' investigation in 6 provinces centered in Adana, were referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station. The charges include establishing and managing an organization and tax evasion.

Alparslan Kuytul, known as the leader of the structure publicly referred to as 'Kuytulcular,' and his wife Semra Kuytul were among 56 suspects referred to the courthouse following an operation in which they were detained.

Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 24 more suspects were detained following 32 suspects captured in an operation carried out on August 19 by teams from the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch.

In the operation, where suspects face charges including 'establishing, managing, and being a member of a criminal organization,' as well as other accusations such as violating the Tax Procedure Law, 56 suspects, including Alparslan Kuytul, the founding general president of the Furkan Education and Service Foundation, and his wife Semra Kuytul, were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the Provincial Police Department were completed.

SOME COMPUTER CASES WERE TAKEN

It was determined that in the structure's so-called administrative building on Abidinpaşa Street in the central Seyhan district, there were rooms protected by coded doors, that the cases of some computers there had been taken, and that the hard drives of others had been removed. Teams examining the security camera records around the building identified the suspects who took the evidence. The computer cases and hard drives found as a result of the police investigation were taken into examination.

THE OPERATION WAS ANNOUNCED BY MINISTER GÜRLEK

In a statement made on August 19, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek reported that simultaneous operations were carried out at 49 addresses in 6 provinces centered on Adana against the structure publicly known as 'Kuytulcular,' and that legal proceedings were initiated against 32 suspects for the crimes of 'establishing and managing a criminal organization,' 'being a member of an organization,' 'laundering property values derived from crime,' 'qualified fraud,' 'forgery of official documents,' and 'violating the Tax Procedure Law.'

Minister Gürlek, who stated that within the scope of the investigation, an 'access blocking' decision was made regarding 349 social media accounts determined to be carrying out activities in favor of the organization, also announced that management trustees were appointed to 5 companies.
