Berat Ö. (25), under surveillance for a while, was stopped along with Mücahit K., who was with him, at the exit of a gas station in Merkez District on Wednesday, June 10, at around 01:00. Inspections found 113 grams of drugs in a gum box on Berat Ö.

TURNED FAMILY BUILDING INTO A DRUG DEPOT

In the continuation of the watchmen's work, a raid was conducted on the building where Berat Ö. lived with his family in Hamidiye District and the coal shed section beneath it, along with teams from the Sadabad Crime Investigation Department. During searches in the coal shed, 9 kilograms 525 grams of drugs were seized, hidden inside a barrel. It was determined that Berat Ö. used the coal shed section of the building to store drugs.

Berat Ö. and Mücahit K., taken into custody, were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. Berat Ö. was arrested by the court on charges of 'Drug trafficking,' while Mücahit K. was released under judicial control. It was learned that in their initial statements to the police, the suspects said they wrapped the seized drugs in a napkin and swallowed them.
