In Niğde, 20-year-old S.C.A., who was repairing an electricity pole belonging to a mining company, was electrocuted and fell from a height of several meters; the unfortunate young man died at the scene.



While carrying out maintenance and repair work on the power lines of a mining company in Niğde's Sazlıca town, 20-year-old S.C.A. was electrocuted by high voltage while working on a pole. The young worker, who fell from a height of several meters due to the electric current, lost his life at the scene.

ELECTROCUTED BY ELECTRIC CURRENT

A tragic workplace accident occurred during maintenance and repair work on the power lines of a mining company in Niğde's Sazlıca town. The young worker S.C.A., who climbed the electric pole to fix the fault in the lines, was electrocuted by high voltage for an as-yet-undetermined reason while working.

His colleagues, who saw S.C.A. fall from a height of several meters to the hard ground after losing control due to the current, immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region in a short time.

LOST HIS LIFE AT THE SCENE

During the first intervention and checks by health teams at the scene, it was determined that the seriously injured young worker had lost his life. His colleagues who received the sad news were deeply saddened.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

After the detailed examinations carried out by the crime scene investigation teams, S.C.A.'s lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy. Gendarmerie teams launched an investigation into the incident to investigate safety measures and possible negligence.
