Konyaspor is nearing the end of the transfer of Galatasaray's former striker, Mostafa Mohamed. The Egyptian center-forward, for whom Nantes paid 6 million euros in 2023, is expected to transfer to the green-whites for a transfer fee of around 1 million euros.
Konyaspor is preparing to strengthen its attacking line with Galatasaray's former player Mustafa Mohamed. It has been suggested that the green-white club has made significant progress in the transfer of the 28-year-old Egyptian striker, who wears the Nantes jersey.
KONYASPOR CLOSE TO AGREEMENT
According to a report from French press L'Equipe, negotiations between Konyaspor and Nantes are nearing an end. It was stated that the transfer is expected to take place for a transfer fee of approximately 1 million euros.
NANTES PAID 6 MILLION EUROS
Mustafa Mohamed was loaned to Nantes from Galatasaray in 2022 with a purchase option. The French representative exercised the 6 million euro purchase option in June 2023 and acquired the Egyptian player's registration. If the transfer to Konyaspor is realized for 1 million euros, Nantes will have sent the player for approximately one-sixth of the amount they paid.
SCORED 29 GOALS AT NANTES
Mustafa Mohamed scored 29 goals and provided 8 assists in a total of 136 matches he played for the Nantes jersey.
HAD BEEN LEFT OUT OF THE SQUAD
The Egyptian striker, who has one year left on his contract with Nantes, had come to the fore due to absenteeism issues during pre-season preparations. It was reported that Mustafa Mohamed, who did not attend the team's pre-season training, was fined, and although he later returned to Nantes, he was trained separately from the professional team and sent to the reserve team.
