An 84-year-old man, A.D., who is alleged to have Alzheimer's disease, hit his wife Emine D. on the head with a piece of wood after an argument in the Bulancak district of Giresun. The elderly woman lost her life in the incident, and A.D. was taken into custody.

The 84-year-old man, who is claimed to be suffering from Alzheimer's disease, hit his wife with a piece of wood in the Kovanlık town of the Bulancak district in Giresun, resulting in her death. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between A.D. (84), who is allegedly suffering from Alzheimer's, and his wife Emine D. (80) for an unknown reason in the Kovanlık district.

ELDERLY MAN IN CUSTODY

During the argument, the elderly man struck his wife's head with the piece of wood he had in his hand. Health teams who arrived at the scene determined that the elderly woman had passed away. Emine D.'s body was taken to the Bulancak State Hospital morgue, while A.D. was taken into custody by the gendarmerie.
