An 82-year-old man, I.Y., was killed at the scene after being run over by a garbage truck that was reversing in Kadıköy. An investigation has been launched regarding the accident, and the truck driver has been taken into custody.
In the incident that occurred on Güleç Çıkmazı Street, Fahrettin Kerim Gökay Avenue, in the Zühtüpaşa neighborhood of Kadıköy; a garbage truck with the license plate 34 FCV 646, driven by T.K., ran over an 82-year-old woman named I.Y. while reversing. Upon receiving the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
TRUCK DRIVER IN CUSTODY
Medical teams determined that the elderly woman had lost her life. After the incident, the driver of the garbage truck was taken into custody, while I.Y.'s lifeless body was transported to the morgue by a funeral vehicle. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
