An expat returning to the country from Poland caused terror at a gas station. In Bolu Dörtdivan, the expat A.T., after arguing with two brothers in front of a fuel pump, drew his pistol and opened fire. While the brothers, covered in blood, were taken to the hospital, the expat driver was detained at the scene.
A Turkish expatriate driver coming from Poland shot and injured two brothers in the legs with a pistol during an argument at a gas station on the TEM Highway in Bolu. Gendarmerie teams on patrol at the time intervened immediately.
The incident occurred at a gas station in the Dörtdivan area of the TEM Highway. According to information obtained, the expatriate A.T., who arrived from Poland, entered the station in his vehicle with foreign license plate WU 3832P to buy fuel. While waiting in line at the pump, an argument broke out between A.T. and two brothers, O.Y. and S.Y., in the car behind him for an undetermined reason.
VERBAL ARGUMENT TURNED BLOODY
As the verbally started argument quickly escalated, the enraged expatriate A.T. drew the pistol he was carrying and opened fire on the two brothers. O.Y. and S.Y., hit by the bullets, collapsed to the ground bleeding from their legs.
PATROLLING GENDARMERIE INTERVENED
Upon hearing the gunshots, the Highway Gendarmerie teams, who were on patrol along the highway, intervened in the incident without delay. The suspect A.T., who came from Poland, was apprehended along with the weapon used in the crime and taken into custody by the teams.
INJURED BROTHERS IN HOSPITAL
Upon the notification, 112 Emergency Health teams dispatched to the scene provided first aid to the injured brothers at the site. Brothers O.Y. and S.Y. were taken by ambulances to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The investigation launched by the Gendarmerie teams into the incident is ongoing.
