INVESTIGATION FOR SINCAN PRISON CLAIM
In the statement by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that proceedings were initiated against Çömez within the scope of the crime of "publicly disseminating misleading information" regulated under Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code.
While it was conveyed that the claim raised by Çömez was that a riot broke out in Sincan No. 1 Prison, it was stated that the investigation was initiated ex officio following these statements.
