Iran has expanded its operations in retaliation for the attacks by the US and Israel. The Tehran administration, which has carried out drone and missile strikes on bases, ports, and energy targets in the Gulf, recently targeted Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Airport with a Shahed-136 type kamikaze drone.
As the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran continue into their sixth day, the conflicts have spread across the region. While Israel launched a new wave of attacks in Iran, Hezbollah struck targets in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, displacing thousands. It was reported that a US submarine sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, resulting in at least 87 casualties. The US Senate rejected a bill aimed at limiting President Donald Trump's military operations against Iran. While tensions in the region persist, Turkey announced that a ballistic missile launched from Iran was neutralized by NATO air defense systems.

AZERBAIJAN: MISSILES AND DRONES FELL IN NAKHCHIVAN
Azerbaijani sources reported that missiles and drones from Iran fell within the boundaries of the airport in the Nakhchivan autonomous region.
ARAKCHI: THE ATTACK ON THE WARSHIP WILL HAVE PAINFUL CONSEQUENCES FOR THE US
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi warned that the US sinking an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka would have "painful consequences." In a statement on the social media platform X, Arakchi accused the US of "committing an atrocity at sea."
He stated that the Dena frigate, with approximately 130 sailors on board, was struck in international waters, about 2,000 miles from the Iranian coast, and added, "You will see that the US will feel deep regret due to this precedent it has created."
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had previously confirmed that a US submarine sank the Iranian warship with a torpedo in the Indian Ocean. Hegseth said he believed the ship was safe in international waters but was sunk by a torpedo attack. He noted that this was the first incident since World War II in which an enemy ship was sunk by a torpedo, stating that the US was "fighting to win the war."
IRAN: SEPARATIST GROUPS WERE STRUCK
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced that positions of separatist groups attempting to enter the country from the western borders were struck, resulting in heavy losses. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards stated that they attacked the bases of Kurdish militias in Northern Iraq with three missiles. It is also reported that Iran conducted a drone attack on broadcasting and telecommunications transmitters near the city of Sulaymaniyah in Northern Iraq. The Israeli Ministry of Defense also announced that Defense Minister Israel Katz spoke with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who said, "Go all the way, we are with you."
IRAN STRUCK AN AMERICAN TANKER
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they struck a US tanker north of the Persian Gulf. It was stated that the ship is still on fire. Additionally, the statement mentioned that during wartime, passages through the Strait of Hormuz would be under Iran's control.

The Iranian official news agency IRNA reported that Iran targeted the centers of groups within the borders of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government in its attacks. Local sources in Lebanon also claimed that a Hamas official was killed in Israeli attacks. The Israeli Army announced that they had launched a new wave of attacks on Tehran. Shortly after the announcement, Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in Tehran and Karaj.
