CRUSHED UNDER THE VEHICLE WHILE SELLING HANDKERCHIEFS
The accident occurred around 13:00 on the side road of Gazi Boulevard in Teomanpaşa Neighborhood, Kepez district. While truck driver Uğur Y. (45) with license plate 07 DJR 60 was waiting at a red light, Durdu Aldemir, who was selling handkerchiefs by the roadside, approached the vehicle. As the light turned green and the truck moved, Aldemir, who was in the truck's blind spot, was crushed under the vehicle that hit him.
LOST HIS LIFE
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the accident site. The health team's examination determined that Durdu Aldemir had lost his life. Traffic police took security measures in the area and closed the road to traffic. Aldemir's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy. The truck driver was taken to the police station to give his statement.
