In the Arsin district of Trabzon, an object that fell into the garden of the District Police Department and was assessed to be an unmanned aerial vehicle caused panic. Following the object crashing to the ground with a loud noise, 4 police vehicles were damaged, and the windows of some nearby workplaces were shattered. Fortunately, no one was killed or injured in the incident. Whether the object is a UAV and where it came from will be determined by the teams' investigation.

An object, believed to be an aerial vehicle, fell from a height into the garden of the District Police Department in the Arsin district of Trabzon, causing great panic. The incident, which produced a loud noise, resulted in no loss of life or injuries, but 4 parked police vehicles were damaged. Windows of some nearby workplaces were also shattered.

OBJECT FELL INTO POLICE GARDEN 

The incident occurred around 19:00 in the garden of the District Police Department building on Mehmet Akif Ersoy Street, Yeşiltepe Neighborhood, Arsin district.

The object, whose source and nature could not yet be determined, fell from a height into the police department's garden. A loud noise was heard in the area due to the impact, and 4 parked police vehicles sustained material damage.

WINDOWS OF NEARBY WORKPLACES BROKEN 

Due to the impact of the fall, windows of some workplaces around the police building were also broken. After the incident, the area was cordoned off, and teams took extensive security measures in the vicinity.

Crime scene investigation and bomb disposal teams began work to determine what the object was and where it came from.

GOVERNOR ŞAHİN: INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED 

Trabzon Governor Tahir Şahin came to Arsin after the incident and conducted inspections. In his statement, Governor Şahin said the object was "evaluated to be an aerial vehicle" and stated that no loss of life or injuries occurred in the incident.

Şahin reported that material damage occurred to 4 vehicles and noted that a comprehensive investigation had been launched regarding the incident.

ORIGIN OF OBJECT UNDER INVESTIGATION

Governor Şahin, stating that crime scene investigation teams are continuing their work, noted that the public will be informed after examinations regarding the origin and nature of the object are completed.

While teams continue their work, whether the object is a UAV and where it came from will become clear following the examinations.
